About Me

I'm Asten, but you already knew that. I was born in September 1992 in Ipswich, Suffolk, UK. Apart from living in St Neots, Cambridgeshire in my early twenties I have lived here my whole life.

I'm autistic. I was diagnosed at the age of four. I also have mild cerebral palsy (CP), OCD and Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD) which I was recently diagnosed with (September 2018). I try not to let my disabilities get me down, but as you can imagine, it's hard sometimes.

When I was 17 I went to college to study Art & Design. I got my Level 2 but in the second year I had some health problems so I didn't complete my Level 3. I've attempted to go to college a few more times since then but for one reason or another I've never been able to stick it out. I much prefer studying at home.

I love writing, as you may have guessed. I think it's one of the most creative things you can do. And there's nothing I love more than being creative. I self published my first book, Rainbow Balloons last year (2018). Since then I've self published two more books. I also like to write blogs, articles and fan fiction, and I've always got an idea for a story.

As far as my sexual and romantic orientation I'm not a hundred per cent sure. I'm definitely somewhere on the asexual spectrum but I don't know where exactly. But I don't really like to label myself; I think the only thing that matters is I'm in a relationship with my soulmate, Myron who I love very much.

When it comes to my general interests I love reading, internet, TV, spending time with friends and family, cinema, and going out to eat. My special interests are music, balloons, Disney and Basil Brush.
